We are proud to announce that Denis Zatyagov has published a new paper in the IEEE Journal of Robotics and Automation Practice (RA-P), together with RoboHouse colleagues Auke Nachenius, Eva Verhoef, Deborah Forster, and David Abbink (senior author).
The publication is a great example of RoboHouse’s pillars: turning robotics research into practical solutions that can be deployed and validated in real operational environments. As a fieldlab, RoboHouse serves as a bridge between academia, industry, and end users, helping innovations move beyond the laboratory and into practice.
Reflecting on the publication, Denis Zatyagov says:
I deeply admire IEEE Robotics and Automation conferences, letters, magazines, and transactions, as well as academicians’ contributions to society in general. Yet, I feel there is more room for insights on tech transfer and practical applications. That is why I was very happy to see the launch of the Journal of Robotics and Automation Practice (RA-P) in 2024. Having our study published there makes me proud, and it shows the right direction for RoboHouse as a fieldlab that brings research into operational environments.
The paper’s publication in RA-P is particularly meaningful because the journal focuses on translating robotics and automation research into real-world impact. We are excited to see this work contribute to the growing body of knowledge on robotics research. Congratulations to Denis and all co-authors on this achievement!
